Hot Prague, and Alcohol (Too much)

Yesterday I was suddenly invited to lunch with the boss and some colleagues. I was welcomed with a beer and a shot of Fernet (its like a dark apertif; like a herbal schnaps).

And then we had two more rounds.

That kills me. I then had to hike across the center of Prague in 30 degree weather (82 farenheit?). And then out with friends of the wife. By the time I got home I wanted to peel off my business suit and throw it away.

And I keep telling people I love the heat. And they expect me to be an experienced financial markets dealer… ie., that I can drink a lot and hold it well.

Nope. Not true.
